Jodi Rabinowitz
Jodi has been working in the performing arts industry for the past 7 years. Jodi has worked across multiple disciplines and involves cross disciplinary work into her practice. Jodi aspires to work across lighting, video and stage design.
Since coming the United Kingdom Jodi has worked for companies such as Punchdrunk Enrichment, Rambert, Es Devlin, The Belgrade Theatre and many others. Amongst being a budding young designer, Jodi is also an experienced lighting technician and programmer. Jodi has recently started a role at the Belgrade Theatre as a Creative Associate specialising in Lighting Design.
In Australia, Jodi has worked for companies including The Australian Theatre For Young People, Kings Cross Theatre, Griffin Theatre, Seymour Centre Parramatta Riverside Theatre among many others.
In 2020 Jodi decided to attend the National Institute of Dramatic Arts to study Technical Theatre and Stage Management, while still continuing to finish her degree in Media and Communications (Majoring in English and Gender Studies) at the University of Sydney. In 2021 Jodi also continued her studies in design participating in a diploma in applied design from the University of Tasmania.
In 2022 Jodi was awarded the Peter Baynes Scholarship to travel overseas and she began working in London and Europe. She worked for Es Devlin and since then has been working as a lighting designer and technician across the UK and Europe.
