Stories have a unique power to shape us.
The stories we hear quickly become the stories we tell ourselves.
Nadī translates to ‘river’ in Marathi.
It explores and deconstructs ghost stories from the Konkan region of India, forming a connection between nature, narratives and freedom. Drawing inspiration from the natural world and the stories of spirits, the duet dives into themes of autonomy and transformation.
The desire to flow like a river ; a longing for freedom and self-determination, defying societal norms and their constrained roles. An interplay between nature and narrative, Nadī offers an evocative and abstract landscape to celebrate the strength and resilience of the many who dare to desire true freedom.
